Room hire starts from just £200 for civil ceremonies, with the option to have an outdoor gazebo ceremony for £350. Set evening meals are priced at £35.50 per person, including three delicious courses. To save the pennies, opt for a set meal at lunchtime, priced at £27.50 per person.
Set in 12-acre surroundings, Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall is an excellent venue to get spectacular wedding photographs. Inside, the stylish décor and cosy atmosphere provides a relaxed setting for wedding guests.
With a variety of wedding packages to suit a wide range of budgets, couples can go for the Sundown package for £2,850, for 50 guests. This includes everything from reception drink and canapés to room hire and DJ. For 2020, Bowden Hall is offering couples a package for 40 guests at just £2,020.
Hatton Court Hotel, located just outside Gloucester, combines beautiful rural surroundings with the benefit of being within close proximity to the city centre. Offering four different packages suiting varying budget sizes, Hatton Court Hotel prides itself on catering for couples’ needs to make their day special.
The Holly package, available from November to March, includes everything from top table flower arrangement to a three-course meal, as well as a complimentary bridal suite, all for £3,495. The Hazel package, available from April to October, is priced at £4,495 and includes additional extras such as a professional disco.
Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at The Manor House Hotel in the quaint market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. Brimming with character, The Manor House has cosy interiors and beautiful gardens, great for wedding photographs.
Its summer wedding packages start from £4,399 and winter packages are from £3,600, including room hire, wedding breakfast, an evening party, as well as drinks package and other perks. Looking for a last-minute venue? The Manor House Hotel is currently offering a wedding party for 40 guests for £2,750 between November 2020 and February 2021.

The venue offers three wedding packages for exclusive use of the venue. The Ashbee Package is priced at £77 per person from Sunday to Thursday, working out to be £3,850 for 50 people, and £85 per person Friday to Saturday, coming to £4,250 for a party of 50. The Fig Restaurant can be hired out for the ceremony, priced at £450 for a maximum of 50 guests or, for a larger guest list, the Montrose Suite can be hired for £350.
