A cosy reception venue for newlyweds, The Green Dragon Inn is a quintessential Cotswold pub, complete with roaring fires, original features and stone flooring.
Function room hire starts from just £200 and, with its own terrace with views across Cowley, provides the ideal spot for a Cotswold wedding. A three-course meal for wedding parties is priced at £27.50 per person, with menus changing seasonally.
Blackfriars Priory in Gloucester is the oldest medieval library in Britain, providing the ideal setting for couples looking for a historical venue. The 13th century priory still has original features, making a unique backdrop for any wedding ceremony.
Smaller wedding parties of up to 50 guests can enjoy the intimate setting of The Upper East Range from just £1,200. For larger parties of up to 80 guests, hire The North Range from £3,100. Couples can also hold a ceremony at Blackfriars Priory for an extra £250.

Set in 12-acre surroundings, Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall is an excellent venue to get spectacular wedding photographs. Inside, the stylish décor and cosy atmosphere provides a relaxed setting for wedding guests.
With a variety of wedding packages to suit a wide range of budgets, couples can go for the Sundown package for £2,850, for 50 guests. This includes everything from reception drink and canapés to room hire and DJ. For 2020, Bowden Hall is offering couples a package for 40 guests at just £2,020.
Hatton Court Hotel, located just outside Gloucester, combines beautiful rural surroundings with the benefit of being within close proximity to the city centre. Offering four different packages suiting varying budget sizes, Hatton Court Hotel prides itself on catering for couples’ needs to make their day special.
The Holly package, available from November to March, includes everything from top table flower arrangement to a three-course meal, as well as a complimentary bridal suite, all for £3,495. The Hazel package, available from April to October, is priced at £4,495 and includes additional extras such as a professional disco.
Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at The Manor House Hotel in the quaint market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. Brimming with character, The Manor House has cosy interiors and beautiful gardens, great for wedding photographs.
Its summer wedding packages start from £4,399 and winter packages are from £3,600, including room hire, wedding breakfast, an evening party, as well as drinks package and other perks. Looking for a last-minute venue? The Manor House Hotel is currently offering a wedding party for 40 guests for £2,750 between November 2020 and February 2021.
An idyllic manor hidden away in the Cotswold countryside, Owlpen is the picture-perfect setting for a wedding. With a church, Cyder Barn and the manor house itself, Owlpen has everything you need to make your big day special. Steeped in history, the venue has amazing gardens with room for a marquee for larger parties.
The midweek wedding package for 2020 is priced at £4,750 and includes use of the estate for two nights, as well as the Cyder Barn, a ceremony for up to 50 guests, alcohol and a three-course meal. The package also includes complimentary bridal accommodation and exclusive use of the new pole barn.
Escape to Cotswold House Hotel & Spa for a wedding to remember. Offering a relaxed vibe for intimate ceremonies, this luxurious venue provides couples with the ultimate romantic Cotswold wedding. With gorgeous gardens and beautiful views, the hotel & spa offers couples and their guests with stunning photo opportunities.
The venue offers three wedding packages for exclusive use of the venue. The Ashbee Package is priced at £77 per person from Sunday to Thursday, working out to be £3,850 for 50 people, and £85 per person Friday to Saturday, coming to £4,250 for a party of 50. The Fig Restaurant can be hired out for the ceremony, priced at £450 for a maximum of 50 guests or, for a larger guest list, the Montrose Suite can be hired for £350.
A luxury country hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Frogmill dates back to the 16th century. With a luxurious yet relaxed feel, the hotel has a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for entertaining guests. Elegantly styled, the hotel has 28 en-suite bedrooms, plush boutique hideaways for couples and their guests to enjoy.
Wedding packages at The Frogmill range from £3,500 from Monday to Thursday in low season, to £6,500 on Saturdays in peak season.
