Featuring modern choreograph and an abundance of nostalgic hits – including ‘Holding Out for a Hero’, ‘Let’s Hear It For The Boy’ and, of course, the iconic title track ‘Footloose’ – the stage adaptation of the 80s screen sensation Footloose is set to entertain audiences at the Everyman Theatre, from Monday 4 until Saturday 9 April 2022.
Cheltenham theatregoers can expect an experience based on the classic movie – which sees city boy Ren forced to move to a rural backwater in America, to discover that in Bomont that dancing and rock music are banned.
Starring Dancing on Ice winner Jake Quickenden and bursting with sassy spirit, and a singalong score, Ren takes matters into his own hands and gets the town – and the theatre – to its feet.
