Celebrating the launch of Cheltenham’s newest fine dining restaurant, SoGlos has teamed up with GL50 to give away a one-of-a-kind tasting menu for two people.
Worth £120, the lucky winner of SoGlos’s competition can enjoy a visit to GL50 between Tuesday and Friday evening to indulge in a five-course tasting menu, created especially for the winner and their guest.
Opening on Saturday 16 November 2019 in Royal Well Road, GL50 is led by Chef director Jonas Lodge, who trained under Heston Blumenthal, and promises delicious and experimental British cuisine with dishes including hay smoked lamb rump with barley, baby gem and toasted barley sauce; and roast cod served with new potatoes, sorrel, smoked roe and fermented celeriac velouté.
Specialising in exciting and modern British cuisine, the venue also offers an affordable lunch menu, using excess ingredients from the previous evening’s service – to tackle the issue of food waste.
