Gloucester’s brand-new Tim Hortons restaurant and drive-thru will officially open Tuesday 16 November 2021, it has just been announced. Officially opening its doors at 7am, Tim Hortons is offering the first customer in the drive thru and restaurant queue free drinks for a year, and the first 100 guests each receiving a free breakfast meal.

Almost a year in the making, SoGlos first revealed Tim Hortons is coming to Gloucestershire in February 2021, with the Canadian fast-food chain completely overhauling the former Pizza Hut on Eastern Avenue retail park in Gloucester.

There’s not long to wait before Gloucestershire diners can get their hands on the new menu, which is expected to include Tim Hortons’ signature coffees, freshly baked treats including the famous doughnuts and Timbits galore, as well breakfast staples such as toasted bagels.

The new Tim Hortons Gloucester will offer dine-in seating for up to 94 guests, outdoor seating, delivery locally and a drive-thru.

Owned by Restaurant Brands International (RBI), which also owns Burger King, the first UK Tim Hortons opened in 2017, with 34 branches across the country and ambitious plans to expand the franchise.
