YOKU, a new contemporary Japanese restaurant is opening at Cheltenham’s fashionable No.131, from Friday 11 March 2022.
Owned by Jade and Julian Dunkerton, YOKU is described as a ‘Tokyo-vogue’ Japanese sushi and Asian dining experience that ‘opens a new world of aspirational dining and cocktail experiences in a unique and exquisite setting’.
YOKU translates from Japanese to the desire of doing things exceptionally well, with care and kindness.
Diners can expect stylish interiors that No. 131 has become known for including authentic artwork and a gold leaf vaulted ceiling.
Lucky Onion culinary director Ronnie Bonetti and rising star chef Jesse Chung will be creating a menu of meticulous presented sushi and YOKU signature dishes from the open kitchen.
With Bar Tokyo adjacent to the restaurant serving an extensive selection of sake, Japanese wine and cocktails.
