The Christmas menu at The Coconut Tree puts a festive twist on its delicious Sri Lankan favourites, with bright red beetroot Ho Ho Hoppers served with cranberry relish, curry leaf sambol and caramelised onions with cinnamon; crispy fried turkey baubles with a pot of cranberry dipping sauce; and Sri Lankan-style split sprouts and cashew nuts, alongside its much-loved regular dishes like cheesy Columbo, fat sister pumpkin curry and kotthu.

Celebrate the arrival of 2023 with champagne and cocktails, alongside an indulgent five-course feast at Téatro restaurant in Cirencester, plus live music to get you in the dancing mood.
On the menu
With five courses to fit in, the first of the night is an elegant appetiser of Jerusalem artichoke soup with tarragon foam.
Following that up is a choice of starters – either scallop and pea with black pudding and apple, or beetroot and goat’s curd with port and hazelnuts.
Then, there’s a refreshing pomegranate granita with basil consommé to cleanse the palate.
For their main course, diners can pick from beef fillet with beef dripping potatoes, broccoletto and piccolo parsnips, or rosemary and borlotti bean panissa.
