Please note, this event has been postponed. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Guiting Music Festival returns to the Cotswolds for 10 days of classical, jazz, and folk concerts, promising to be a highlight of the summer calendar once again.

An annual summer event which has been running for half a century, Guiting Music Festival returns in 2020 for its 50th year, with the impressive line-up spanning classical, jazz, and blues concerts across 10 days.

Taking place in the stunning setting of Guiting Power from Friday 24 July to Sunday 2 August 2020, this year’s line-up includes music recitals and open air-concerts starring some of the best national and international names.

Classical concerts at Guiting Music Festival 2020

Classical highlights include pianist Lara Melda on Monday 27 July 2020, guitarist Xuefei Yang on Thursday 30 July and The Albion Quartet on Friday 31 July 2020.

Saxophone quartet, The Marici Saxes will also be performing on Tuesday 28 July 2020. Cellist Robert Wallfisch and pianist John York will perform on Wednesday 29 July 2020, while pianist Joanna MaxGregor will play on Saturday 1 August 2020.


Jazz concerts at Guiting Music Festival 2020

Welcoming jazz-lovers to Guiting Power playing fields, Friday 24 July 2020 will see award-winning American jazz singer, Stacey Kent opening the festival. See a collaborative, joyful performance from The AKA TRIO on Saturday 25 July 2020.

The first open air jazz concert, on Sunday 26 July 2020, will feature Selmer #607 and The Seddon Deadly Sins.


Blues concerts at Guiting Music Festival 2020

Promising a fantastic finale to the Guiting Music Festival, the open-air blues concert will take place on Sunday 2 August 2020. With a line-up featuring Dani Wilde, Ian Parker and Babajack Steger, the concert celebrates the genre in an informal setting.
