Cheltenham is getting a brand-new hot yoga studio this September 2023, as Hotpod Yoga opens its first venue in Gloucestershire at The Bramery Business Park in Cheltenham.

Hotpod Yoga promises to be a 'one-of-a-kind' immersive, multi-sensory experience, with classes taking place inside its unique pod heated to 37°C, accompanied by glowing purple lights, rhythmic urban-inspired beats and its own unique scent blend of bergamot, lavender and orange.

Catering to all levels of ability with an adaptable vinyasa-based flow which synchronises movement to breath, Hotpod Yoga classes can energise or relax, depending on which sessions you choose.

Sessions available include Hotpod Flow, which is suitable for all levels; Dynamic Flow, a stronger class tailored to more experienced students; Foundation Flow, which features fewer vinyasas with more explanation and modifications for an effortless practice; and Nurturing Flow, a more restorative class featuring passive poses which are ideal for absolute beginners and anyone with injuries.

Yogis looking to turn up the heat on their asanas can try out the experience for free with the studio hosting complimentary taster classes from Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 September 2023.

It's also offering an introductory package of two weeks of unlimited classes for £20, with classes costing £15 each from then onwards, with a five-class pass available for £65 and an unlimited monthly membership costing £100.

Hotpod Yoga founder, Sophie Jayne Taylor, dreamed of opening a studio in Cheltenham with her late husband Mitch, with whom she shared her love of yoga; but after he died unexpectedly in December 2022, she's now realising her dream by herself.

She said: 'I got thrown a hard hurdle in life, and Hotpod Yoga has saved me mentally and physically; I knew it was my future to open a studio of my own. I’m so excited to pioneer a change in local residents, bringing them a relaxed, balanced and supercharged lifestyle.’

'Cheltenham is a beautiful town with so much to love and admire; it felt like the perfect place to bring Hotpod Yoga and make it a new home. I adore meeting people, and to now bring my true passion to my community in Cheltenham and help others in whatever yoga journey they are on, is a dream to me and will be the most satisfying job to wake up to every day.'
