With cinema tickets reduced to £3 to mark National Cinema Day, movie lovers have the perfect excuse to treat themselves to a film at various Gloucestershire venues on Saturday 2 September 2023.
Film buffs can stop off at Cheltenham’s boutique TIVOLI Cinema in the Regent Arcade, where tickets for its plush auditoriums usually cost upwards of £20 per person; Cineworld in both Gloucester Quays and Cheltenham's Brewery Quarter, where all films in all formats are available; as well as Gloucester's art-deco picture house, The Sherborne Cinema; and not forgetting, Tewkesbury's The Roses Theatre.
National Cinema Day screenings include Haunted Mansion; Oppenheimer with Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr.; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem; Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling; Cobweb; and The Blackening; plus, celebrating 100 years of storytelling, Walt Disney's Peter Pan.
