SoGlos audience hits 16-year record high

With more readers visiting the online magazine, following through its dedicated social media channels and subscribing to its email newsletters for inspiration on living in, working in and enjoying Gloucestershire than ever before, SoGlos's audience has grown to an all-time high.

Gloucestershire's leading media brand, SoGlos has hit a new audience reach milestone.

Reinforcing its position as Gloucestershire's leading media brand, SoGlos's audience reach has hit its highest levels since launching in the county almost 16 years ago.

During the 30-day period from 20 March 2023, more than 179,000 readers flocked to to be inspired by the online magazine's wealth of professionally-written content; social media followers hit 89,000 across SoGlos's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter channels; while 28,000 subscribers received SoGlos's carefully-curated weekly Lifestyle and Business newsletters - taking its total monthly audience to a new 296,000 high.

The growing audience reach follows the significant £250,000 investment in a project to set the standard for the future of UK regional media from here in Gloucestershire, which involved a brand-new SoGlos website and bespoke 'SoCMS' back office content management system launch in the summer of 2022. 

Launched by two Gloucestershire journalists on a mission to revolutionise regional media, SoGlos has gown to now be powered by Gloucestershire's largest and most experienced media team, who are unwaveringly passionate about inspiring our audience and helping our partners' businesses thrive.

The SoGlos brand also extends to include Gloucestershire's two leading annual awards, the SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards, now in its sixth year and set to be held at Dunkertons Organic Cider in 2023, and the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards, now in its third year and set to be held at Gloucester South Community Fire and Rescue Station in 2023.
