French restaurant brand, Côte, has unveiled a new summer menu, which it describes as the ‘biggest evolution of its food in its 15-year history’ – and it’s now being served at its bustling Cheltenham restaurant in Montpellier.

Created by Côte’s new executive head chef Steve Allen – who was previously head chef at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s – the modern French menu is available from May 2022.

The new menu spans new additions to its people-pleasing classics, include a new sharing board featuring cured French meats, a melting baked Camembert, twice baked ‘sheet music’ bread drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with rosemary leaves, alongside cornichons, sweet honey tomatoes and marinated olives.

Also new on the Côte summer menu for Gloucestershire carnivores is the signature Côte de Boeuf – Côte’s ribeye sharing experience – which is aged for 30 days in the restaurant chain’s specially built Himalayan rock-salt ageing room. And there are some vibrant vegan options including a new celeriac fricassee too.

But most excitingly, perhaps, is that the new dessert menu includes decadent espresso martini crêpes, served with a small jug of warm martini-infused chocolate sauce – santé!
