Kids eat free this Easter

Families are in for a treat this Easter 2024, with kids eat free offers at four Gloucester Quays restaurants. Coal Kitchen is offering free kids' breakfasts and brunches until 12pm every day of the school holidays, when dining with a paying adult; Bill's is giving two kids the chance to dine for free every weekday from Monday 25 March to Friday 12 April 2024, when an adult buys a main dish; The Real Greek is offering a free kids' main meal, drink and ice cream for every £10 spent from Friday 29 March until Sunday 14 April 2024; and at TGI Fridays, Stripes Reward Members can get a free kids' meal with every adult main course.

Easter photo booth and family trail

Snap a seasonal selfie at Gloucester Quays' Easter photo booth. Step inside its charming phone box covered with seasonal foliage and dotted with Easter eggs, strike a pose and share it on social, tagging in Gloucester Quays. There's also an Easter trail to follow in-store from Friday 22 March to Sunday 7 April 2024.

Coal Kitchen's new Sunday roasts

Popular independent restaurant Coal Kitchen launches its first ever Sunday roast menu this March 2024, serving up plates piled high with dry-aged beef, Gloucester pork belly or vegan wellington, crispy roast potatoes, maple-glazed parsnips and carrots, seasonal greens, cauliflower cheese and freshly made Yorkshire puddings. Children's portions are available, ideal for family get-togethers over Easter — and SoGlos readers can claim a free glass of house wine with every roast until Sunday 7 April 2024, too!

Free baking recipes from Denby

Popular homeware outlet, Denby, is encouraging families to get baking this Easter, giving away two free recipes to try at home. Have a go at making chocolate fudge cupcakes, filled with Easter treats like mini eggs, marshmallows or mini chocolate bars; or try its Easter egg biscuits with chocolate marble, perfect for using up any eggs-tra chocolate that's left after the festivities!

Charity Super.mkt's pop-up shop

The UK's first ever multi-charity shop has a pop-up at Gloucester Quays this spring, bringing a carefully curated selection of pre-loved and vintage clothing to the shopping and leisure destination, giving shoppers a chance to grab incredible bargains while supporting local causes like the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, Longfield Hospice and National Star. The 10-week pop-up shop is located at the High Orchard street entrance to the Quays, opposite Crew Clothing.

Alfresco shopping at Orchard Street Market

Soak up some spring sunshine while you shop when Orchard Street Market returns to Gloucester Quays on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April 2024. Browse from a handpicked selection of the south west's very best traders, selling everything from small-batch spirits, artisan cheeses and freshly baked treats, to vintage clothing and handmade crafts — with street food to tuck into and live music to enjoy, too.

Gloucester Quays turns 15

Gloucester's premiere shopping and leisure destination marks a significant milestone this May 2024, as Gloucester Quays turns 15 years old. While plans for how the centre will mark its birthday are still under wraps, we're sure there'll be plenty of ways to celebrate — and SoGlos will be sharing all the details as soon as they're revealed.
