33 The Rum Bar, Cheltenham

Set to open its doors to revellers on Friday 11 August 2023, 33 The Rum Bar will be the latest addition to Cheltenham's buzzing bar scene.

Rum enthusiasts can expect an exciting menu featuring a new spin on the popular June bug; a spiced pineapple sour; and a classic old fashioned; as well as a variety of rum flavours such as mango and spiced — and it's dog friendly, too!

Anatolian Palace, Gloucester

With restaurants located in nearby Worcester and further afield in Stafford, Anatolian Palace is set to open doors to hungry guests at Gloucester Quays in the third week of August 2023.

While the finer details such as an official opening date and menu are still under wraps, the Turkish Mediterranean restaurant is expected to serve up hot and cold meze; pide Turkish pizzas; traditional grills; fish dishes; vegetarian options; and more.

Ki-Sabor, Cheltenham

A brand-new Brazilian themed restaurant is opening on Regent Street opposite The Beefy Boys in Cheltenham town centre.

Ki-Sabor's new Instagram page features, so far, a delicious-looking selection of classic Brazilian desserts such as mousse de limão — a traditional lemon mousse and family-favourite in Brazil; and pudim de leite condensado — a creamy Brazilian-style flan made from condensed milk.

Ki-Sabor is now open.

Retro Sect, Tewkesbury

Fancy a blast to the past? Located at Kenard Business Centre at Gannaway Lane in Tewkesbury, those with a taste for nostalgia can look forward to the launch of Retro Sect — a new shop filled with old-school games consoles and video games, toys, computers, remote-controlled vehicles, audio-visual equipment, video cassettes, posters, clothes and much more.

Showcasing and selling a plethora of 1980s and 1990s memorabilia, including classic cars, the store is set to open its doors to visitors on Saturday 12 August 2023.

Zizzi, Gloucester Quays

Following a major refurbishment, popular Italian chain restaurant Zizzi is reopening in Gloucester Quays this August, with a colourful revamp.

As part of the restaurants' make over, mural artist Adam Bartlett was selected by Zizzi to create a mural depicting the long history of Gloucester Docks, the Victorian Warehouses and other parts of Gloucestershire.

Zizzi is now open.
