There's not much longer to wait until Gloucestershire's first Wingstop UK opens at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham — bringing its bold flavours to the town just in time for the summer.
Positioned between Søstrene Grene and F45, Wingstop UK is due to open to Cheltenham diners in mid-July 2025 — and to celebrate its grand opening, the cult chicken brand is treating the first 100 customers to free wings, giving early birds the chance to try its iconic flavours as soon as it opens.
Bringing 'chicken wings from the wing experts' to The Brewery Quarter’s eclectic mix of dining options, customers can look forward to a signature menu of wings, tenders, burgers and sides — all freshly cooked to order, hand-sauced-and-tossed in a choice of ten distinctive flavours ranging from classic lemon pepper to the fan-favourite, hickory smoked barbecue.
Milkshakes, freestyle drinks and Camden Town Beer, as well as a churro selection for dessert, are also on the menu.
Originally founded in the US in 1994, Wingstop launched in the UK in 2018 and will have 57 sites across the country by the end of 2024, including nearby Bristol and Birmingham, as well as major cities such as London, Manchester and Leeds.
Its Cheltenham venue helps cement The Brewery Quarter as one of the south west’s premier destinations for dining and retail, with the restaurant completing the Brewery's tenant lineup, following hot on the heels of recent openings Go Outdoors and Menkind, alongside longer standing tenants such as Flight Club; Mowgli; Pho; The Alchemist; and Hub Box.
Demelsa Coleman, marketing manager at The Brewery Quarter, said: 'We’re so excited to be welcoming Wingstop to our vibrant line-up of brands. The buzz is already building and with a free wings giveaway on opening day, we know it’s going to be a huge hit with our visitors this summer!'
Malachy O’Keeffe, head of marketing at Wingstop UK, added: 'We can’t wait to bring our flavour-packed menu to Cheltenham and The Brewery Quarter is the perfect location for our next opening.
'From our signature wings and loaded fries to our famous range of sauces, we’re looking forward to serving up something truly exciting for local foodies.'
While an official opening date is yet to be confirmed, Wingstop UK is expected to open at The Brewery Quarter mid-July 2025.
