Event ended

Editor's Choice

A tale of politics and power, Shakespeare’s Macbeth will be performed by the Watermill Theatre in Cheltenham this autumn.

This passionate new adaptation of Macbeth is the Watermill Theatre’s most powerful production to date, with plenty of energy and tension throughout.

The classic Shakespearean tragedy will be performed on Tuesday 1 October and Thursday 3 to Saturday 5 October 2019 at Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham.

Formed in 2016, Watermill Theatre has cultivated a unique style of performing Shakespeare. The familiar story recounts the Macbeths’ desperation to succeed, fuelled by greed and ambition – a must see for theatre fans.
