A swashbuckling adventure is coming to Tewkesbury this July 2022, as The Roses Theatre’s production of (Almost) Treasure Island takes to the stage.

Shiver me timbers! Get your sea legs on and head to Victoria Gardens in Tewkesbury this July 2022, as (Almost) Treasure Island from The Roses Theatre takes to the stage.

Made by the creators of popular past shows (Almost) A Midsummer Night’s Dream and (Almost) A Christmas Carol, the creative team at The Roses Theatre will their own spin on Robert Louis Stevenson’s swashbuckling classic, Treasure Island.

Transforming Victoria Gardens into a tropical island full of the promise of treasure and riches, the family-friendly show is set to be an action-packed pirate adventure.

Theatregoers should bring their own chairs, beanbags or picnic blankets to sit on and come armed with umbrellas and waterproofs for fending off rogue pirates – and the British weather.

(Almost) Treasure Island is on from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 July 2022, with five performances taking place across the weekend.
Tickets cost £15 per adult and £10 per child aged three to 15 and can be booked online at rosestheatre.org.
