The historic Badminton House is once again offering visitors a rare glimpse into its beautiful private gardens this spring, with the Spring Open Day event taking place on Sunday 24 April 2022, raising money for the Severn Area Rescue Association.

The garden typically only welcomes the general public inside once a year, but due to the success of the last two years’ openings, there will be three chances to explore the serene grounds in bloom this season, with the first opportunity being the Spring Open Day – with children under 12 entering for free.

The home of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort provides brilliant horticulture displays of roses and borders of soft summer colours, combined with herbaceous perennials, campanulas, penstemons, geraniums and phlox.

The Walled Garden – a short stroll from the house through the park – is also home to the Badminton House kitchen garden, which provides an abundance of fruit and vegetables, as well as cut flowers.

What’s more, guests will be able to purchase a selection of food and drink from stalls, as well as souvenirs from local plant and flower sellers.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the private gardens, but can go into the park at Badminton on a short lead.
