Seasonal Après Ski bar set to open at The Old Stocks Inn

The Old Stocks Inn is set to add a dose of seasonal charm to the Cotswold hotel when it launches its festive-themed Après Ski bar this December.

Cotswold hotel, The Old Stocks Inn, is bringing the Alps closer to home this festive season with the launch of its Christmas-themed Après Ski bar.

The cosy chalet-style bar, located in the garden of the Stow-on-the-Wold boutique hotel, is set to open on Friday 1 December 2017 with an exclusive launch party that will merrily kick-start the countdown to Christmas.

Visitors can expect to enjoy a selection of continental beers, mulled wine and delicacies, including Bratwurst sausages and Swedish smörgåsbords, while the bar will be decked out with seasonal decorations to add a thoroughly festive feel.

Charlotte Tuck, general manager at the Old Stocks Inn, said: ‘We’re really excited to be launching our new Après-Ski bar, bringing a taste of the Alps right here to Stow-on-the-Wold.

‘Both tourists and locals alike can find a seat and snuggle up with a woolly blanket next to our fire pit. It’s a great way to spend an evening with friends, family or colleagues.’

The bar is open from 3pm to 10pm daily until Wednesday 3 January 2018, excluding Christmas Day, and is also available for private hire for groups of up to 25.
