Abba and Queen tribute acts 'Arrival' and 'Flash' will headline the Cirencester Phoenix Festival 2018.

Two of the biggest bands of all time will rise from the ashes this summer, at Cirencester’s Phoenix Festival.

Although not the real deal, two of the UK’s top tribute acts have been confirmed as special guests for the free event, which will be held at Cirencester’s Abbey Grounds on Saturday 25 August to Sunday 26 August 2018.

Arrival will perform their award-winning ABBA tribute show. Demonstrating those glorious trademark harmonies and stellar costumes, the band said ‘We are absolutely thrilled to be special guests at this years’ Phoenix Festival and are very much looking forward to performing. We can’t wait to see and hear all the crowds singing along and having a great time with us!’

Promising to bring the party atmosphere, this Super Trouper of a show is sure to bring out the Dancing Queen in all those watching.

On day-two of the free music festival, music fans can strap on their air guitars for an evening with Flash: A Tribute to Queen. Described by the BBC to be ‘as close as it gets’ to Freddie and Co, the group plays with identical instruments and costumes to Queen, promising a truly authentic show.

Glen Moreman, Festival Organiser said ‘We are so happy to have_ARRIVAL_ and FLASH as our special quests this year. They’ll give everyone the chance to celebrate two of the biggest and best iconic bands of all time!’

In 2017 more than 15,000 people attended the festival, with 150 volunteers giving up their time to make it possible. Entry to the event is kept free thanks for sponsors, grants and donations.
