SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2022 will take place on Thursday 20 October 2022 at the new Hub8 Minster Exchange, which will be home to the town’s new Growth Hub business centre and Cheltenham Festivals’ new headquarters.

We can now reveal that two of the most respected names in the county’s business community will be the headline sponsors of the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2022.

Law firm Willans LLP solicitors, which this year celebrates its 75th birthday, and another of Gloucestershire’s incredible success stories, accountants and business advisors Hazlewoods, are the new joint headline co-sponsors of the annual showcase.

It is their support, and that of all our category sponsors and SGGBA partners, that will make this year’s awards possible – and will take place at Cheltenham’s new Minster Exchange, with returning compère, the BBC’s Steve Knibbs, revealing a new roster of winners across 22 categories.

James Fyrne, managing director of SoGlos, said: ‘We are thrilled to be able to announce Willans LLP solicitors and Hazlewoods as our joint headline sponsors for our 2022 awards, and can’t wait to celebrate the very best of Gloucestershire businesses in the second year of these unique awards.’

Alison Townsend, marketing director at Hazlewoods, said: ‘Last year saw the launch of the SGGBA awards and the buzz in the room was phenomenal. What really struck me was how many businesses of all sizes had been nominated. We were all so rightly proud to be celebrating our thriving local economy.

‘Hazlewoods’ home is Gloucestershire. Founded over 100 years ago in Cheltenham, Hazlewoods has provided accountancy and business advisory services ever-since. It is our absolute pleasure to co-headline SGGBA 2022 alongside Willans – both with our deep-rooted heritage in the Gloucestershire business community.’

Chris Wills, a partner in Willans LLP solicitors’ Legal 500-rated corporate and commercial team and a judge at last year’s business awards, said: ‘I really enjoy learning about the vast number of successful businesses in our county, hearing their stories and getting to meet the people directly involved.

‘Willans advises clients UK-wide, but our roots are firmly in Gloucestershire, and we’ve been supporting businesses here for 75 years.

‘For us, having the opportunity to be part of celebrating and championing Gloucestershire businesses and businesspeople as headline sponsor of SGGBA 2022, alongside Hazlewoods, feels like a natural fit.’
