Simple Minds announce Cotswolds summer concert

Simple Minds will be playing a summer concert in the Cotswolds, and are the latest big name announced in the Nocturne Live 2020 series of events at Blenheim Palace, with Deacon Blue supporting.

Simple Minds will be ‘Alive and Kicking’ in the Cotswolds on Friday 19 June 2020, when the Scottish rock band play a summer concert at Blenheim Palace as part of their ‘40 years of hits tour’.

Tickets to see Simple Minds are on sale now, from seetickets.com and cost from £35 – with a VIP dining package also available for £313.50.

Described by organisers as ‘one of the most successful and iconic UK bands of all time,’ fans of the 60 million-selling, chart-toppers can expect to hear the band – including founder members Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill – perform songs including ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ and ‘Sanctify Yourself’ in historic surroundings. Simple Minds will be supported by fellow Scots, Deacon Blue.

The penultimate line-up announcement for the Nocturne Live series of outdoor concerts at Blenheim Palace in nearby Oxfordshire, Also playing concerts at Blenheim Palace this summer is Lionel Richie on Saturday 20 June 2020; David Gray on Thursday 18 June 2020, with support from Lighthouse Family and Nerina Pallot; with a Sunday concert headliner expected to be announced soon.
