The Greenway Hotel & Spa is giving all 21 of its bedrooms a new look.

A £1 million renovation of The Greenway Hotel & Spa will inject a vibrant and opulent new feel for its 21 bedrooms.

Each room will make the most of characterful features including fireplaces and timber beams which will be blended with new colour schemes; and fresh floor layouts will create larger bathrooms adding feature showers and freestanding baths.

The Eden Hotel Collection, which owns the boutique four-star hotel, is running the refurbishment in stages to keep the hotel open, with the final reveal expected in January 2023.

The project is being led by director Marian Cartter and assisted by interior designer Lucy Yarwood.

Yarwood said: 'It has been a real labour of love and is all about creating spaces which are warm and inviting for our guests, and making the best of the charming features in each room.

'Both the bedrooms and the bathrooms are being completely refurbished with vibrant schemes and an opulent design.'

The popular hotel is set in eight acres of countryside in Shurdington on the edge of Cheltenham. Its Elan spa and café will remain open as normal for spa days and treatments throughout the works.

The Garden Room restaurant will also remain open for dinner as normal, but afternoon tea will be restricted to Saturdays and Sundays until the refurbishment is complete.
