Easter egg hunt

Mini egg-splorers will love testing their detective skills as they take on the legendary Easter Treasure Hunt around the castle and its stunning grounds.

There’s chocolate for everyone who takes part, along with the chance to win an enormous Easter egg, which will definitely up the competition stakes for the kids!

The Easter Treasure Hunt will take place from Friday 19 to Monday 22 April 2019.

Runaround Days

If you need to get the kids out of the house to burn off their sugar rushes, head to Eastnor to enjoy its Runaround Days.

Taking place at the castle from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 April 2019, the event is the perfect way for little ones to let off some steam and run around the grounds, which include an arboretum, a tree trail, and a lake.

Fun for children

Eastnor Castle is brimming with activities for kids of all ages, with Fun for Children booklets offered to little ones when they arrive so they can engage with the castle and grounds in a fun way.

There’s also a Children’s Adventure Playground, a Junior Assault Course, a Knight’s Maze, a Treetop Walkway, a mini zipwire, a Woodland Play Area, a rope swing, and a of course plenty of outdoor space to run around.

Mini historians will enjoy exploring the castle and learning more about its history, including the opportunity to visit the Red Hall and try on a medieval knight’s helmet.


Food and drink

The Castle Tea Room is the ideal spot to enjoy a bit of lunch or tea and a slice of cake, with children’s lunch boxes available. There’s also an ice-cream parlour that serves locally sourced ice-cream.
